Proven tools that help you get better results from incident investigations

Many companies find it hard to learn from incidents at work, and this leads to them happening again. Our eLearning series is designed to help safety professionals solve this problem.

Each topic takes you progressively deeper into the proven SCALE analysis methodology, where you will learn how to extract maximum learning from incidents, and make a real difference to your organisation’s control of critical risk work activities.

Our SCALE Training Courses

Whether you use ICAM, Taproot, a simple 5-Whys, or any other investigation method – you will find the concepts in SCALE help you to more accurately choose the right incidents to investigate. You will drill deeper into the causes, and create stronger recommendations for the improvement of risk controls and eliminate the issues that stop them from being properly implemented.

Whether you are new to investigations or looking to strengthen your existing approach, SCALE will give you additional tools and confidence to deliver better outcomes.

Taking Effective Action
In some investigations, there are a large number of causal findings. We don’t want to overwhelm the audience for our investigation report with a long list of findings, so we need to get some sense of what’s more or less important, and what might be more or less urgent.
